This policy outlines how returns, replacements, refunds, and warranty support are handled at Prakash Kala Mandir.
1. When Returns / Replacements Are Accepted
- Product is damaged during transit
- Product is defective on arrival (DOA / non-functional)
- Product received is incorrect
- Items or components are missing from the package
Please report such issues within 24 hours of delivery.
2. How to Raise a Request
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Share clear images and/or an unboxing video
- Provide your order details and a brief description of the issue
We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video at the time of delivery for faster resolution.
Requests without sufficient proof may not be accepted.
3. What Happens Next (Process)
- Your request will be reviewed and verified
- Once approved:
- We arrange a reverse pickup, wherever available
- Or guide you to self-ship if pickup is not available
- Return instructions and address will be shared after approval only
- The product will be inspected upon return
Based on verification:
- A replacement will be provided (preferred resolution)
- If replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued
4. Conditions for Acceptance
- Product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
- Must include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and warranty cards
- Serial number / barcode must be intact
- Product should not show signs of use, damage, or modification
5. Non-Returnable Situations
- Change of mind or no longer required
- Incorrect product selected by the customer
- Products purchased under Pre-order / Special Order
- Products that have been used, installed, or altered
- Missing packaging, accessories, or documentation
- Tampered or missing serial number / barcode
- Issues reported after 24 hours of delivery
- Damage caused due to misuse or improper handling
Important Note: We’re here to help with genuine issues reported within the specified time. Products that show signs of use or handling are not eligible for return.
6. Return Shipping
Reverse Pickup: Where available, we will arrange pickup through our courier partners.
Self-Shipping (If Pickup Is Not Available):
- You may be required to self-ship the product
- Return shipping charges will be reimbursed up to ₹500, only for approved cases
To ensure smooth processing:
- Use a reliable courier service with tracking
- Pack the product securely
- Mention Order ID and contact details
- Share courier receipt and tracking details
Important Shipping Conditions:
- Reimbursement is limited to standard courier charges
- Excess or premium courier costs will not be covered
- No reimbursement for unapproved or rejected returns
- We are not responsible for loss or damage during return transit
- Returns must include all original items (no partial returns)
- If a different or incomplete product is received, the request will be rejected
7. Replacement Policy
- Replacement is the preferred resolution
- Provided for the same product or equivalent (subject to availability)
8. Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed after inspection and approval
- Issued to the original payment method
- Timeline: 5–7 business days
Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
9. Warranty & After-Sales Support
- All products are sourced from brands or authorised distributors
- Covered under manufacturer’s warranty, wherever applicable
Customers are requested to check the product within the 24-hour acceptance period.
After this:
- Issues must be handled with the brand’s authorised service center
- We can guide you, but service timelines are managed by the brand
Warranty Clarification:
- Warranty terms are defined by the manufacturer
- Does not cover misuse, improper handling, or physical damage
- Service timelines and decisions are handled by the brand
Our Role: Prakash Kala Mandir is an authorised reseller. While we ensure genuine products and valid warranty support, we do not control the service process or timelines of the manufacturer.
10. Return Rejection & Final Decision
- Requests may be declined if conditions are not met or misuse is identified
- Rejected returns will be shipped back to the customer (shipping charges may apply)
- All decisions made by Prakash Kala Mandir are taken after careful review and verification and shall be considered final and binding
