Accurately track subjects while maintaining stable footage with the improved DJI Osmo Mobile 7 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer thanks to its quick-launching construction, robust 3-axis motors, and ActiveTrack 7.0 technology. The gimbal has a new iteration of the magnetic phone clamp that supports smartphones up to 3.3″ wide in a fast mounting interface. The built-in battery runtime is 10 hours, and it recharges in just 2.5 hours with the USB-C cable. A built-in tripod allows you to place the gimbal on flat surfaces, and a 1/4″-20 mounting thread can accommodate additional accessories.
Quick-Launching Device
Start up the Osmo Mobile 7 by unfolding it and attaching your smartphone via a magnetic clamp to begin shooting. No need to remove your phone from its case; the upgraded clamp supports phones measuring up to 3.3″ wide. A built-in intelligent sensor and automatic alignment detect your phone and adjust the gimbal accordingly for optimal balance. The gimbal can support loads up to 10.6 oz.
3-Axis Stabilization and ActiveTrack 7.0
The Osmo Mobile 7 features improved stability for longer distances using the updated ActiveTrack 7.0, which can automatically track body shapes to track human subjects without needing to make a manual selection. Track subjects even after they leave the frame using automatic zooming and gimbal movements for continuous filming. Smart Capture detects multiple subjects and allows you to effortlessly switch by tapping on your phone’s screen. Smooth tracking pinpoints your preferred subject—whether it be a person or a family pet—and maintains continuous tracking regardless of movement or obstruction. Embedded stabilization technology creates shots free of shaking or distortion due to your terrain.
Intuitive Onboard Controls
- Onboard controls include an integrated joystick and other buttons on the handle grip. A system status indicator displays the battery level and gimbal mode.
- A zoom slider allows you to adjust the focal length and zoom in/out on your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Intelligent Shooting Modes
Besides the usual DJI pan/tilt follow modes and SpinShot, the Osmo Mobile 7 also offers intelligent shooting modes for expanded viewing. Utilize Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, and Hyper-Lapse to blend time seamlessly. Use three different panorama modes to capture wide expanses. Stretch and compress your video using DynamicZoom and Move In or Move Out modes.
Parents and Kids Mode
A new feature included with the OM 7 is Parents and Kids Mode, which helps you become your family’s photographer. Automatically capture moments with your children, thanks to enhanced kids tracking, and access a variety of templates to create digital keepsakes.
Battery Life and Phone Charging
An integrated rechargeable battery keeps the Mobile 7 running for 10 hours at a time. Once depleted, it can be recharged in 2.5 hours using the included power cable and USB-C port. The same USB-C port can also be used as a power output that charges your smartphone when the gimbal is powered off.

An integrated fill light on the module can enhance your low-light shooting. Bluetooth built into the module can connect up to two DJI Mic Mini transmitters to the gimbal without requiring a receiver unit.
